Interesting. I’ve never towed anything with it, but was surprised to see the same rating as the V10. Plenty of owners in the forums confirm the rating, so that makes sense.

Maybe swap some from a Supra? Maybe not.

I opted for a Touareg with the 4.2L V8. Same horsepower, but less ‘torques’ (300ft-lbs). But it appears to have less headaches than the V10 as well.

I like your thinking, but the recent F1 cars won’t regenerate the hybrid system without hitting the brakes, so MPG will be less. (Just did more research...the new hybrids get ~5 mpg)

The Samsung Galaxy is water resistant, and it has a headphone jack. The jack doesn’t have to be a huge hole into the phone...it can be sealed too.
