One car? I expected more (i.e. less) from Philly fans.

Rust destroyed many, many XJs, so they’re starting to get hard to find clean too.

Is there a short supply of stock Jeeps out there? It’s not like these are Ferrari Daytona’s and people are hacking off the roofs.

Is there a factory option to paint the side vents? They still don’t look right a year after I first saw them in person at the auto show...it still says “JC Whitney” to me.

Except in this case, they are adding a 4.0 6-cyl engine instead of a turbo four.

It’s a first-gen VIS body kit. Awful.

I agree it’s slightly better, but you still have to get out of the car. Also, you can’t open the trunk with the top up. You have to release the top just to get it partially open. Still stupid.

I certainly agree that in the long run, the 6-cyl models will probably hold up better than the 718s. However, I don’t think the announcement/production of a 6-cyl 718 Spyder will have any additional impact on the current depreciation of the turbo fours, with the possible exception of the GTS models.

The 987 is probably still the best Boxster Spyder.

Why sell three models of a car, when you can sell four? Boxster, Boxster S, Boxster GTS, Boxster Spyder. Porsche likes its customers to start climbing the ladder, and then adds extra higher rungs once you’ve started climbing.

The new Cayman GT4 with the same/similar 4.0 engine was already rumoured and is referenced in the article.

The future 718 Boxsters (base and S) will still have the turbo four, so this won’t really affect resale value.

Online golf and baseball require no hitting or running.

How will anyone know if they just bungee-cord the racing wheel to the left, put some duct tape on the gas pedal, and then go upstairs and eat pizza or something?

There’s a local hipster/speakeasy place near me that doesn’t have any TVs. Cocktails and a rotation of good craft beer. Being in North Jersey, it’s odd to see a place with zero televisions, but it works.

I looked at the site, and saw that they had ‘falconry’ as an activity.

Also, they were headed to the Greenbrier. Looks inexpensive...

Good to know that there are some positive experiences out there. According to the latest NHSTA data, they are only 50% done across the board. ( I don’t know what the priority groups are based on.)

I just saw this on the NHTSA website.....looks like we’ll be reading news like this for another two years or so.

Based on twenty comments I just read from the December post about Honda going door-to-door, they are not yet readily available. I think this is just Honda getting some good PR (and getting out ahead of the next lawsuit).
