Look - nobody cares that you "totally" hate EA. This is a good deal. Fifa 14 and Battlefield 4 alone would cost you more than a year subscription of this, not to mention the discount and the other games being added down the line.

I don't think it's fair to cite stats like that in the absence of evidence in this instance of what did or didn't happen. I assume Temkin is innocent until proven guilty, as I hope everyone else does.
