Sorry, I got distracted while parsing the BASIC code at the top and compiling a list of issues.
SAFETY.
I’ve got a lot of clay in my garden soil, among other issues, and after considering a raised bed for the last couple years I ended up settling on digging up the first 6 inches of the soil and replacing it with new soil. The plants seem much happier and more resilient, and it only cost me like $50 and some minimal labor…
If it works anything like the shuttle/ISS toilet, the civilians ain’t gonna like it. ;) It requires.. Very precise alignment in order to not make a mess, such that astronauts have to train to use it with a toilet simulator that includes a camera to show them when their anus is properly aligned.

“Maybe they think this president has been extremely stagnant.”
They disagree with Reagan?
At this point, I’m sadly not surprised the General insists on half-assing its offerings.
Lifting 4 sets of train tracks, how hard can it be?
I’d wager that’s been discussed and there’s a pissing match over who should pay for that work to be done.
I don’t know what Millennials you know, but very few of us own homes. Rent and home prices are high. This is right up many peoples alleys because the rent is relatively cheap. The oldest of Gen Z is barley finishing college, if that. And they’ll probably be just as screwed as us, if not worse.
To be fair, its impossible to live without a car there because it was redesigned over the years with cars in mind, right?
I think you should edit that headline. The bridge didn’t destroy the cars. The jackass driving the truck did.
80% of the US population lives in urban areas; this is already how we live except instead of walkable areas we have shitty half filled strip malls, miles of empty and cracked parking lots and multilane surface roads in desperate need of repair.
I don’t think backup cameras are a good corollary. They’re mandatory now because NHTSA testing requirements resulted in cars with more aggressive seat bolstering and higher beltlines, resulting in rear view mirrors with less view and cars where it’s less effective to turn your head. I don’t own any cars with backup…
Needs a steering wheel and real mirrors. I don’t understand why we have to engineer a new problem.
Makes sense. With Covid-19 cancelling a lot of car meets, Mustangs needed to figure out other ways to kill people.
