Rural AM radio? Yes, many things. Mostly the fact that it’s a bunch of ill-informed, angry, right-wing loons spouting conspiracy theories and other dangerous garbage.

You’re in luck because I am making a conscious effort to cover more fish in general. The albumin thing is a good blog idea!

I remember that story. As someone who works retail, seeing he was denied a refund was like reading a heartwarming Christmas story.

There was a guy here in Australia who hoarded $10k worth of toilet paper and hand sanitizer at the start of last year, then tried to return it to the shop he bought it from (using a team of 20 people to get around purchase limits). It did not go well...

I still think aggressively spitting on someone during a pandemic should count as felony aggravated assault.

Amateur

I’m not concerned one bit.

YES. Virginia Beach area here. This pic was snapped by a friend of a friend in the area and is making the rounds big time. It’s real. I’m in disbelief. Not one of my friends has admitted to panic-buying gas, yet somehow there are lines into the street at all the gas stations. I can’t believe we are this dumb. I. Just.

You might have to wait as long as, GASP, this weekend when service is expected to return to normal.

Agree. To the point that Children’s Health Care called a code white at the hospitals which means employees have to sleep there in order to preserve gas and ensure enough staff is onsite to address patients.

The hackers are winning.

From a map, it looks like they are LUCKY there’s another bridge 2 miles away. The next closest bridge over the Mississippi from a very brief eyeballing looks like on the order of 100 miles away.

If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look to the north

I’m waiting until the Mackinac in Michigan develops a fault, then we can start getting serious about Northern Panhandle Statehood again. The North Shall Rise Again, and there will be a Superior State!

Option 1: Pull screen out, blast with hose. No soap needed.

Saw someone on twitter say this on twitter and think it bears repeating: China is speedrunning all the mistakes of post-war America in becoming a car-dependent society.

Every vehicle that’s going to be named in the comments is a bad take and here’s why: We should at the very least, respect every car that’s not boring AF to behold. CrossCabriolet was weird and ugly. Aztek was fugly, but it didn’t look like anything else on the road. It wasn’t just another commuter capsule. I
