If you’re curious, here’s where I first saw the video a few days ago. I’m in a Motel in Washington wrenching on Jeeps; figured I’d toss this onto the front page. This happens a lot in this business; we write a story, and someone says they saw it first, or that they deserve attribution. All I can do is be honest,

Not sure what you’re talking about. Saw it, felt like sharing it, shared it.

Oh man, you’ve got Martian and Arrival, but I think Apollo 13 should be on the list too.

We have an interstate like this in my hometown, I-630 in Little Rock. Prior to it being built there wasn’t an efficient interstate that went directly through Little Rock. There were interstates that circulated the circumference of the city but if you needed to get to the other side of town you either went the entire

You could choose not to read it. The title didn’t mention cool cars, so you should know it was about infrastructure.

Grow up.

There is a fantastic book about this topic called “Strong Towns” by Charles Marohn. While it’s not specifically about how racism is built into our infrastructure, it does highlight how American infrastructure has turned cities into a cycle of problematic under-investment, while putting funding towards dead-end

This is Jalopnik. This is what Jalopnik does.

I have to respectfully disagree and point out that voter ID laws are objectively racist in that they disproportionately effect poor communities of color.

“You never want to make general statement in journalism...”

100% honest story with zero bullshit. Thank you for writing this.

show us on the doll where volvo/polestar hurt you

On top of that, their reliability is atrocious..

Same here, I’ve never used one before. Most of the generic uses are things I can do with Google myself quicker than calling someone and explaining what I’d like. I don’t really get the appeal.

Concierge service is one of those things I know exist but their capabilities are so fuzzy and undefined it’s not clear what you can even ask for. Like tailoring: I’ve heard the phrases “let out” and “take in” but I have no idea what the feasible limits are or what other things they can do.

I was looking forward to being bored with this administration. Pleasantly surprised.

he shouldve added in the memo that they all need to quit fucking around and making their own connectors and just agree to use the same one.  including tesla.

Reminds me of Disney’s Aerosmith Rock n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios. You get in the cue and you meet the band as their hits are played overhead. Every Dad over 40 is rocking out and the kids are going “Who the hell are these guys?!”.

Hmm, statistics time:

You are wildly missing the point.
