I use one, my fiancee has one, and at least one co-worker has one. I've also seen them on the NYC Subway, although admittedly not with the same frequency as Android and iOS devices.

Oh wow, thank you for this. I had searches going back to October 2012. Nothing nefarious but still information that I wouldn't mind having cleared out.
Haha! Maybe it's less of a navigation gene and more of a robot instruction gene. You followed the correct directions of "left-straight-right-left" but you never specified which direction to initially move in :)
I'd like to think I have the navigation-gene, but I've discovered that if there's one thing that messes with my internal navigation, it's when streets cut through a grid system at an angle. Especially when two perpendicular streets and one angled street intersect each other in a close proximity, I get completely…
Why the hydrogen peroxide? I'm in a similar situation with my cat who loves peeing on the front door when we're not home. We've done vinegar and baking soda, along with the store-bought urine cleaners, and while it does a good job I'm always looking for improvements!
Thanks Eric! Guess I'm going to learn how to compile code today.
The cross-platform solution of using GIMP doesn't really work since GAP (er, GIMP GAP) appears to be a Windows-only plugin.
I'm from Metro Detroit. There is no practical public transport.

YES! I had sriracha with scrambled eggs yesterday and I just couldn't believe I had never put the two together before.
Winamp really whipped the llama's ass... but in the long run I guess the llama wins.
I'm upgrading to Mavericks solely so I can have another monitor (er, TV) hooked up on my desk via Apple TV. I don't **need** it... but I want it.
There it is!
Additionally, you can change the color temperature to match your surroundings. For example, at home I still have old-school incandescent lighting, while in the office we have fluorescent. If I take my work laptop home, I have to adjust the temperature slightly to match the lights. Not a big deal, but having that…
The best advice, in my opinion, is to just try it for a few nights and see if you like it. Even better is if you're working late at night with Flux enabled, and then disable it. Disabling it makes it feel like the monitor just burns your eyes.
Look at how worn out that thing is!
I dunno, something has to be pretty high up to hit the spare tire before the bumper.
Even with all the tech around me on a daily basis, having a paper calendar and a pen in front of me is the only way for me to 'visualize' my budget. It's not a very complicated system, but it works for me.
For sure. I would love to have a feature where if I launch a game, the app is turned off until the game has exited.
Ooooh, I like this. I'm getting a bike soon for commuting and listening to music on my commute is a big deal to me, but I have no intention of using earbuds while riding!
