Sound is routed through the HDMI port on my nVidia card, going into my Sony amp. I never could figure out where in any of the settings I could find multichannel audio. Does streaming from Netflix via the browser do 5.1?

I have a computer hooked up to my TV, but I have trouble getting 5.1 surround sound out of it, so when I watch something that warrants surround sound, I switch to the Xbox (Netflix) or Blu-Ray.

Funny enough, this circles all the way back to when Netflix started streaming through the browser... who watches TV on their computer nowadays?
