The Putt-N-Stuff “Bullit”-level go kart experience off US 30 near Wooster, Ohio, where I showed up all of my wife’s hillbilly extended family of “real” race car drivers (they spend all their money from selling meth and copper wire on a dirt track car). When asked at the end “where I learned how to race”, I just said

The only track I’ve actually driven around is COTA on a kart, so if we’re limited to only that we’ve physically driven then I guess it’s that by default (but it’s a pretty decent track anyway).

It’s worth it for the parts alone. And whether you decide to rebuild it to original condition or make a hot-rodded mongrel out of it (LS all the things) it’s cheap fodder for a rebuild/restomod transformation.

The only time I’m ok with giving up my third pedal is if the vehicle is pure electric. Until OEMs build and sell an electric vehicle that I actually want to buy and drive I will insist that my vehicle have a manual transmission. Until Jeep and Toyota finally kill the manual option on the Gladiator (eww) and Tacoma (I

Goldilocks is not the term you want to use.  She’s just the ho that comes in and trashes everything.

The IS250 Convertible always seemed like an attractive way to have a four-seat droptop:

“I want to fit humans in the backseat of a convertible without the use of a Chainsaw.”

The miles give me pause, as well. It’s not particularly rational, though. There is nothing that can’t be cheaply unbolted and replaced on a Wrangler. With 230k miles, there will be very few wear items that haven’t been replaced at least once. The more important part is that the tub looks solid. I’d easily take this

Rich people be doing rich people shit.

Each time change is around the corner, some idiots have to find a way to spread misinformation, EV, Climate Change, Vaccine ....etc And you will be surprise how many people eat this type of info without even questioning it. Unbelievable.

Ain’t you profound? Give yourself a cookie. There’s a difference between “hard to work on” and unnecessarily fragile and complex, dumbfuck.

I 2nd the drag race recommendation.

Bloody glass fragments from a windshield perchance? If you had a chunk of windshield dislodge and you could tell where on the vehicle it came from, you could tell who was sitting there

I’ve lived in areas close to rural areas. Meth is destroying these areas. It’s so horrible. I was near DC when Crack hit the inner cities and turned them into war zones. I think what’s happening in the rural areas with meth is as bad. The internet is full of jokes about rednecks and Meth, but the reality is so tragic.

That’s why you need some sweet 80's louvers

Should be? Higher prices are affecting me just like everyone else but if I’m honest with myself, I know that it should cost double what it currently is. The environmental and human cost of oil is not reflected in the cost at the pump, and the sooner we leave it behind, the better.

It’s wonderful that Joe Biden has personally made gas prices drop for 22 straight days. Thank you sir.
