Musk merged into PayPal and was forced out as CEO, and then bought into Tesla and sued to be declared one of the founders.  I’ll grant him the two others but it’s easy to found “what if?” companies when you’re already a billionaire.

So they’re not a huge factor until they are?

Renault owns about as much of Nissan as it is allowed to ...

I see people trying to get 15K for Fiat X1/9. This is 10X that. Why they like to trash C4's is beyond me.

Ahh, Jalopnik, where most jalops don't want to work on cars.  NP for low entry cost.  You do NOT restore a car like this, you get it functional and track it or daily drive it.

Vaccinated? I ask because I’ve tested positive once but I’m pretty sure I’ve had it twice. 3 vaccinations and when I had covid it was little more than a summer cold. No fever or sore throat, just clogged up sinus and headache.

The vaccines really do reduce the symptoms down to little to nothing.

I guess they don’t want to shock people with change? I would like to have both sides and the road ahead in the same field of view if possible and I don’t know why they don’t use different placement for the cameras

That’s not what communism is. Like, at all.

So sorry to hear about Jan. Good luck, I hope you find her soon.

a car that the whole world knows

If liking this truck is wrong, I don’t wanna be right!

I can agree self driving is like the opposite of what you’d think an exotic car owner wants but once you enter SUV areas the role of the vehicle changes and so does the ethos. It’s not a track monster anymore. It’s a fancy people mover now and in that regard I can see them eventually adding self driving features down

It won’t exist in 10 years once the Colorado River dries up... because you can guaran-dam-tee all the states accessing water from it won’t do a damn thing to curb water usage and will do nothing but fight with each other, while continuing to build, until the Colorado River needs to be renamed the Colorado Canyon.

Because the name and the car are one

There’s something about staring down the long hood of a W126 and seeing this at the other end that (along with all of the features that were unheard of in 1986) makes a $1,300 car feel special.

Oil companies get tax credits and deductions for nearly everything you can imagine. Need a few hundred thousand gallons of tertiary injectant to enhance oil recovery on a marginal well? That’s deductible. Why? Because when the price of oil is sufficiently high, the investment is worth it, but only if the extra costs

Did anybody really expect the Musk/Twitter deal to actually become fact? Seriously now, be real. Turd boy is like the guy who goes to a hooker and then wants his money back because he can’t get his thing to work right. This idiot is an attention whore, he will do/say almost anything for attention. Like some other

Looks like it is all done right. I have totally different feelings about these than say, VW based MG replicas, because the original 356 was basically cobbled together with VW parts.

He just needs to make a million of spacefaring miniature submarines.
