ALL ps3's can play ps1 games. Only the original 60gb had the ps2 BC.

honestly the way I see it is 2 or so generations back on console, and I'm prolly gonna emulate, unless its readily available digitally at a decent price. In this case, I have a copy and my slim ps3 plays ps1 games so I'm good, in your case go ahead.

FYI, Ace combat 4 Shattered skies, 5 Unsung war and Zero The Belkan war were ALL good Ace Combat Games, with Unsung War being the best of the series.
