People love to hate on Draymond, with some reason. Those same people would also donate a testicle to have him on their team at 25 mill per.

His agent said he tore his ACL...Say KD opts in, the Warriors would have how money money tied up in dudes sidelined for all of next season? $50 mill?

On what planet does Milner remind you of Craig Bellamy? They are completely different players on every conceivable level.

He doesn’t have control of transfers. Micheal Edwards does....and he hasn’t put a foot wrong recently. Salah, Ox, Andy Robbo, VVD, selling Countinho all excellent moves.

It wouldn’t work for the fans. How could anyone arrange travel, tickets etc?

It’s in the under 20s comp, not the pro league.

Goddammit I hate being a highlight truther but Mailata never played in the NRL, only it’s youth (under 20s) competition. So those aren’t the pros he’s playing against.

Not to mention every Australian

While he can be cringe worthy as a presenter at times, dude clearly has it going on in terms of getting content out there. He’s not just responsible for the hiring, he’d have a big influence on direction, content, ideas etc. Plus he’s a draw for all the ‘bigger’ guests that make some of their stuff great.

One mans trapped is another mans ‘signed a multimillion dollar contract.’

Can’t comment on the US but here in Oz that would immediately become an appeal point. Might even get 10 years knocked off his sentence

I didn’t realise this was the Onion now

That’s not a volley.

Kevin O’Connor at Le Ringer is claiming that the Cavs traded Kyrie for the Brooklyn pick and Crowder and IT was just ‘icing on the cake’. If that’s true, IT’s hip must be pretty messed up.

One year of George isn’t worth as much as you think. The Butler miss more of an issue though.

Serious question from a non American - what would you say about removing padding and helmets?

I don’t think that’s entirely true. Merica’s insane gun culture has been a point of discussion and attention for years, at least in Australia. If only because we are constantly dragged in as the counter-factual of a country that implemented widespread gun control after a massacre and don’t have the same levels of gun

This is a joke right? Joker and Nadal are both top ten all time players. All three of them playing together in their primes has been fantastic. Throw in Murray too and it’s as competitive as any era in history.

He’s basically traded Ibaka for George (albeit only a year). Does that qualify for a mistake?

Once you get past the eye gouging and raking your opponents face with your boot
