Well, it ain’t the comic, and its only requirement is to be internally consistent, rather than consistent with what is a completely different thing. I am, however, curious to know what Gaiman and others involved with the character in the comics make of the show.

True. The most enjoyable films I’ve seen have invariably been undersold underdogs (or, any good film prior to the internet, and the endless months of build-up and hype).

Yeah, that pretty much mirrors my regrets/hopes and analysis. I’m a staunch republican in the UK, so my perspective is a little different for understandable reasons... ;)

I’m in the same boat. My plan is to spend several games just practicing crafting - not even bothering to pick up weapons. Just find a quiet spot, farm some materials, and practice, practice, practice.

Weirdly, my one attempt at writing some SW fanfic a couple of decades ago, was about a Storm Trooper who tries to defect to the rebels after witnessing a massacre. He got killed before he could make it, sacrificing himself to ensure the Falcon escaped from Hoth, with no one ever realising what he had done.

How about if it includes full stops?

I only worry about the things that worry me - none of the tech in SW makes much sense, so the issue is whether you notice it doesn’t make any sense. The only thing that’s really bugged me in the last two films was in TFA, where somehow they destroyed planets that were presumably light-years away AND EVERYONE COULD…

True - I was thinking more of his rather (iirc) ignominious death. I think he just did well against Obi because the floor was wet and he was wearing the best shoes.

From an outsider perspective (white, British), I don’t really get the celebratory, see-how-you-like-it, tone in some of the comments.
