It’s not the movie per-se but both Mickey Rourke and Elon Musk haunt my nightmares, generally.

Just excitement. Also I didn’t notice the previous DS thread till afterwards.

Trevor Slattery is funny but the rest of it was sort of jammed-together and Aldrich Killian was not the most menacing villain, which might have been the whole joke I know. 

For sheer fun I’d put GotG in the top rank, even with a comically weak villain like Ronan “Stop Laughing At My Name!” the Accuser -Not to be confused with Ronan Keating the former lead singer of Boyzone, who would at least have done better in that dance-off with Star Lord.

When I was a kid, the looong delay between movies opening in the US and opening here was interminable. Sometimes it was months. You’re getting off easy with two weeks, though I’m mystified as to why they would wait. I thought same-day international openings were devised to combat piracy.

I’d say Ant-Man and Iron Man 3 are average.

Vaughan is excellent but Wright is more technically innovative. Deadpool’s fourth wall breaking could get old fast without some engaging direction to carry the audience along. I think that’s probably why Tim Miller wanted to change things up a bit. Here’s a nice video about Wright’s style.

Maybe give the Defenders a movie down the line sometime when we’ve really gotten to know them all. It would be incredibly funny then to see them interact with the more famous MCU characters. That would be worth waiting for.

Yeah, I’m sure Netflix only did it because of licensing hassles. VPNers were probably a very small slice of the pie anyway.
