Do you really think everyone (anyone?) is pining after the base Integra sedan of old?

I simply do not understand for the life of me, why anyone would bemoan a new practical, reliable, fun-to drive manual hatchback. Something that you can enjoy driving for fun and something that can haul a handful of people with their shit, too.
Yes; why are you making it sound like everyone paying the same price is a bad thing? That’s how everything else works. What you pay for bananas in the grocery store doesn’t depend on your research and negotiation skills; why should the price you pay for a car?
Written quote, so not an actual contract. I still won’t fully believe it until I’m actually driving off the lot.
I do have it in writing as a quote. I’m still skeptical, despite other people endorsing the dealer...we’ll see.
Meanwhile, I ordered my Maverick for 4% under invoice.
Yeah the guy was trying to shit on the author about talking EVs only, when all they really did is out themselves as not knowing how to operate their own car in an emergency situation.
If your car is stuck in the middle of a highway, what’s more advisable; stay in it, buckled, call for emergency assistance, or put it it neutral, get out, and push?
Of course they aren't going to let a house burn down, they'll just bring the kids along.

Of course wishing for smaller trucks is fine, as is pining for a day when the benchmark was different, but railing against the definition itself seems silly, like insisting that Tom Cruise is NOT short, because…
I respectfully disagree. I find the relief from having to do constant micro-adjustments to the accelerator and steering wheel on the highway fantastic. It takes a non-zero amount of mental energy to stay centered and appropriately spaced, and a computer is better at it than me. Then that frees me up to do things a…
ABS in 1994?? ABS on bikes has been around for longer than I would have guessed!

I did the same thing too, the first time I scrolled past it.
Is there any regulation that has forced gas stations to be credit card based, or is it driven by consumers? That seems like a problem that’s easy for the free market to sort out...let someone start making gas-pump-style chargers and if that’s what consumers prefer then they’ll take off and the market will assimilate.
“These maters” meaning refueling? Because every car I have driven has the same gasoline filler tube size that accepts the same nozzle at any gas station....I didn’t need to find a VW-specific refueling station in order to get a gas nozzle that fit my proprietary VW filler tube...
What’s “The Eternal Charging Standard Problem”? It sounds more like it’s a problem that’s about to be solved.
