I don’t currently have the perfect garage. With a 2-door Mini and an Ioniq PHEV, there is essentially 100% overlap between the capabilities of each. The Ioniq can probably fit a bit more inside, and rides more comfortably, but not dramatically so.

Instead, I hereby propose a simple, achievable definition of “going to space,” which is that you must orbit the Earth at least once while you’re up there
Oh so that explains the sounds of scrambling we’ve been hearing since the Lightning was announced.
Didn’t Volvo XC90s circa 2002 have a proto-technosquiggle, albeit with incandescents?
Does Pep Boy’s have the ability to troubleshoot & repair simple ICE technology now?
Cells in an automotive battery are big; re-using them in a cell phone would either require an ENORMOUS phone, or completely rebuilding the cells by harvesting minerals and starting over like in the article.
I didn’t previously think the Mach-E and Edge looked so similar, but now that you’ve lined them up...yeah, they really do. Clearly we’re not going to confuse them on the road for each other, but if the Mach-E design was instead announced as the 2022 refresh for the Edge, I wouldn’t question it at all.
Oh yeah, that will be sweet too
Sometimes you can see evidence of headline optimization - the URL will often not match the page. It seems to match here, though.
I saw “white privilege” “Dave Grohl” and “pulled from Cameo” and was expecting a very different story.
I don’t think so; the official names from Ford are “Mustang” and “Mustang Mach-E”
You’re obviously welcome to make your own decisions, but you can get a Mach-e relatively cheap; the base model on x-plan (employer discount/mustang club member) is $43,390 delivered, and Ford has $2,500 cash if you buy it on their Ford Options plan (like a lease, except it’s titled in your name), plus the $7,500 tax…
I have found that you can make pretty much any car faster - just push down a bit more on the right pedal.
Aside from the obvious “two broken cars”, I think I’d have to say a class A camper, and a moped. One way too big to be useful, the other way too small.
I guess his love for American disasters continues to the present as he tries to create more of them.
Holy cow, it’s wild how convincing that vintage paint job is! The current Silverado is SO different from the old truck, but one glance and my brain is just like “yep that’s an old K1500"
No, I mean why would it no longer be recognizable as a miata if it were designed for batteries? It seems imminently possible.
...why?
Is there a legal compliance thing related to the MX-5 platform and a 3,000 lb weight limit?
I bet it’s going to be something like the Miata MX-e
