2nd Gear: Magna Is Going To Be Building A Shit-Ton Of Cars
Too bad about the “look at me” turbo-look conversion including its shitty paint, but these SCs are among the most solid air-cooled 911s built, and don’t forget about the low miles. If it checks out this would be a great driver -unless you were looking to be stealthy. NP
Deja vu all over again. May I introduce the 2006-2014 Tribeca. I’m sure they will do better this time.
Among the best converts are cyclists that like fixed gear bikes. They really get the idea of monitoring and controlling the momentum of the car, etc.
Two VWs and a Porsche, all manual. No autos in da house. And to pass on the tradition to the next generation: my son learned to drive in a manual from day one, and took his road test in one too. (I am slightly worried though, that he has no car and his GF drives a Camry Hybrid...)
Dougie says I can get a 911 at that price...so CP!
They need to get this thing out the door before VW poaches all their diesel engineering staff. But seriously, yes VW has a huge black eye forcing them to move away from diesel. But I want the diesel Subaru...hopeless.
I dated a woman like this briefly - a real hot mess.
- Turns out you can’t really ask Mike Pence to step in the other four days of the week.
You forgot something...
I’ll just leave this here.... https://www.copart.com/lot/32938086/
“the car overheats” = “like new”
But wait, Honda did it, and people like it. (I admit I have no idea about how it sells, but the reviews are solid.) I admit no knock-it-out-the-park engine, but tweaks right and left that change the nature of the car. And oh, it has this weird transmission you’d never expect to see in a mid-sized sedan.
I do wonder how the Tsuru would do compared to the taxis it replaced...
I give you the 2017 VW Jetta
2nd Gear: Good Use Of ‘Phantasmagorical’
Jeep (or Mercedes, or Chrysler, or AMC, or Fiat, what ev) found all these badges piling up and was going to have to pay inventory tax on them. So they started slapping them on everything in sight. Out the door!
Not a wagon? Nor a Eurosport VR with the V6? Or even both? I dunno...
And much, much more mass to absorb the impact.
Great idea, but not in the early eighties, first one in the US was 1986. And VW called them Syncros back then.
