Glad to see people squeezing what they can out of the customization. I’ve been entirely unimpressed so far by the lack of options for hairstyles and some really odd decisions on the devs’ part to have certain headgear not compatible with t-shirts, as well as the lack of individual character costume parts split into

I don’t care about guest characters (though Tifa would be cool)... what I want is better damn customization.

Just started playing T8 with my wife tonight, we looked through the game’s customization options and both of us are sorely disappointed in the lack of actual options you have to customize your characters in this game. We miss the days of Tekken 6 when characters had a plethora of options (including hairstyles! What

I really hope the chuds who stole all this info meet some kind of punishment for it. Some of the stuff they leaked is personal information of developers who are guilty of doing nothing but their jobs. Cool that we know about stuff that’s planned to release but ffs it was not worth the leaked information of the

Seems like scalpers and resellers are being terrible human beings as usual.  Doesn’t matter if the device is mostly useless for the majority of PS5 owners who just play on their TVs, this type of behavior is bullshit.

I genuinely got angry at him repeatedly for throwing wrenches in Pete’s/Miles’ plans to do literally anything, and Kraven basically caused Harry to become Venom because he was such an incessant thorn in the Spider Men’s sides.

I feel like he actually solidified himself as a villain, despite his motivation being super

Ok so the symbiotes taking over the city was very much in line with the spirals on not only the meteorite but also every single non-venom symbiote.

I think they were using it as a means to set up or tease Knull showing up at some point in the future, and even Venom’s wings at the end of the game are a direct callback

The green symbiotes have a really hilariously easy weakness: web shooters.

Literally any time I saw them I’d just spam R1 and they’d all die.

lmao ok

Look man, I’m not about to defend the article itself but they do this for every single big AAA title. BG3 came out? Weeks of articles over random bullshit. Starfield? Same thing. Spider-Man? Yup.

They want the clicks.  It’s stupid, but it’s their business model.

You mean exactly how they made sure everyone knew Starfield was out with weeks of articles about random bullshit in-game? Yeah, it’s just how they do business.

All good, as usual on the internet it’s super hard to ascertain intent, haha.  Yeah, by nature their statement is vague and I would be interested in seeing the actual numbers for all of it if we had them.  I don’t have the information on hand at the moment but I distinctly remember at least a few indie devs saying

So what you’re saying is that it still does cannibalize sales for some games, which makes my statement... accurate? The way I worded it isn’t exactly saying it cannibalizes ALL games on the service, unless you’re approaching the interpretation assuming that’s what I mean. My comment about there being exceptions would

Oh of course not, I’m just saying that the idea that gamepass cannibalizes sales for games that launch on the service isn’t exactly a myth at this point.

Microsoft itself has confirmed that gamepass cannibalizes sales.  I honestly don’t think it’s a ‘myth’ at this point.  Sure there are exceptions but when the people actually providing the service say it’s the case I tend to at least listen.

It’s a Bethesda game, of course it was going to sell really well. It could be hot garbage piled atop more hot garbage and people would buy it because of the name recognition. I’m not saying that’s what Starfield is, but come on. One game from an immensely popular developer does not make a busted myth.

I don’t

Agree to disagree.

I’ll pass.  I haven’t wanted to support Microsoft in years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

I’m happy for you.

I think you’re naive. Unionizing isn’t the only thing that’ll result in good games, you’ve got to have a decent sense of direction from the top down too. I don’t think ActiBlizz or Microsoft has that second bit going for them.
