This might just be me, but something about this article and the title are just in bad taste.

Difficult, no. Tedious, yes.

Hasn’t this game only been out for a few days?

God I wish this was me. My ADHD ass took to autosave way too easily, and now any game that requires manual saving without blatant save points is ROUGH.

The AFK kick patch will do wonders to mitigate the crowded servers problem. People are staying logged in overnight either intentionally or accidentally.

The combat is fantastic, you gotta be nuts. Tifa is damn near Bayonetta.

“Rebirth’s biggest problem is that it has an inability to let anything last only as long as it did almost 30 years ago.”

Dang, Remake was amazing to me. Just seeing all the characters and environments re-imagined in high-res graphics was worth it. Yeah, the story got a little weird near the end, but I found the game really fun.

This is a pretty silly take. No one complains that a novelization has more content than a film. The difference here is its really only as long as you choose to make it.

“never meant to be this long”?
I spent about countless hours in the original FF, doing all kinds of quests, grinding to lvl 99 before the final confrontation, trying to get every Materia possible, golden Chocobo breeding... the list was endless.
How can a remake be “too long”?
I mean - it is FF7, most people who buy

I moved past that ages ago, and many of my friends did as well.

The word “BIG” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this headline after that presentation.

You are lucky! I’ve logged 15 hours on PS5 and have have at least 6 hard crashes, 3 rounds that froze at the start or the end and almost no luck with Quickplay.

People are noticing that they are upset about noticing that the method of making things noticeable is working, they don’t notice how upset they’d be if they couldn’t notice something because it wasn’t noticeable.

Oh hey, it’s today’s reminder that fandom is inherently toxic.

I’ve never owned an Xbox. I have owned every iteration of Playstation since the original. (with the exception of Vita)

I’m somewhat frustrated by the fact that I won’t be able to play a large number of games from the likes of Bethesda moving forward (that said I have no real desire to play Starfield)

However, other

Imagine getting upset about more people having access to something you love? It’s not a zero sum game people.

More players being able to access games the better

I’m always a fan of more people playing games. Exclusivity is an anti-consumer practice and I’d love Playstation fans to get the games I play on the console they want.

Wayyyy too much credit was given to XIII. That was the only FF game which I got frustrated, quit, and threw the game away out of spite.
