FIT is a private university. This isn’t even eating up our tax dollars.

Hats off to Buzz for picking a university that really does focus on tech instead of sports programs. Florida Tech doesn’t even waste alumni funding on a football stadium, their football team borrows the field from the high school down the street and puts their money into education and research instead.

Boeing is bragging about how their CST-100 capsule uses recessed LED lighting (SpaceX is on the Crew Dragon as well, they just don’t brag about it as a major feature) . This capsule looks like the design crew for the interior worked on US airliners in the late 1970s.

It looks like the black is the pressure vessel, and the white protective panels over it, much like the large tiled side panels on Orion over its machined aluminum pressure vessel.

The Apollo CSM is from the 1960s, it is not at all a “next-gen capsule.”
