What a bunch of wankers. RENTING a car for internal research? And it’s MB, they’ve got LOADS of cash to afford to take apart hundreds of cars if they needed to. Instead, they screwed over a small business owner, all for the cost of 2-3 brand new MB cars (i.e. a new Tesla). Corporate greed continues in all countries…
Why not just offer the current owner a substantially higher amount of money to purchase the car, rather than pull a fast one? You’re a multi-billion dollar company.
To me the truly notable thing about this car is Tesla managed to keep it all but completely secret in this day and age. No leaks, spy shots, or even rumors.
