Guldet blev till sand is a great song though.

Same with discovering Torres from You're the Worst. New Skin really helped an already very strong scene make a real impact.

I live in Sweden and if I want to see film on 70mm it's probably easiest to go to London. I'm only half-joking, there's only a handful of projectors left in the country, and they are only rarely used.

I still watch the season five episode Lexmas every Christmas as some kind of weird tradition, because while it certainly wasn't the greatest, the show was consistently entertaining to watch it instead of studying during my years at the university.

Thanks!
Haha yeah I have heard many stories about people doing that here as well. I actually have pretty cool bosses who let me do my job how and when I want as long as it gets done (I'm a web developer). So I asked them a few days ago if I could work from home on Monday, and start working by noon or so to catch up on

Thanks!
Yeah, I haven't really decided how I'm doing yet. I'm in Sweden and the Oscars are livestreamed by SVT (think Swedish BBC), and they usually leave the shows on their site for a few days for people to catch up. But it's something special about awards shows and watching them live and unspoiled so we'll see.

Okay so I have a few questions if anybody would like to help.
Because I live in Europe and the Oscars are in the middle of the night here, I have never actually seen it (except for acceptance speeches the morning after).
If I want to see the big categories (like best film, directing, acting) when should I start

Also, nice to see David Gulpilil get the best actor award for Charlie's Country, which I thought was pretty good, and he was great in it.

I'm all up in that film festival. What? No, I mean Gothenburg Film Festival, are you saying that there is another one now as well?

The Alison Pill singing teacher scene in Snowpiercer. That was wonderful, and kinda creepy.

It's the one where Lex gets shot and while in a coma experience a possible future where he pulled out of the run for state senator so that Jonathan Kent wins, Lionel disowns him, he marries Lana and become good friends with the Kent family and a generally good person. I'm not saying that it's revolutionary TV or

It is! She's called Lucia here and is actually one of very few saints celebrated by the Nordic Lutherans. And while there has been a couple of headlines declaring the tradition to be in danger because of the trend of cities appointing official Lucias to visit workplaces and senior homes etc. (a tradition that's

I'm from Sweden so on Christmas Eve I watch this old Disney Christmas special that has been airing every year since 1959 and has become one of the biggest cultural traditions in the country. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…

One small note, this review as well as IMDb and Wikipedia only mentions Swedish and English being spoken, but in fact the husband is Swedish and the wife is Norwegian, and they speak in their separate languages. The same is true for the other prominent couple in the film, but the other way around (Swedish woman,

Season 9 Zod storyline over season 4 magic Lana any day.
Late game Smallville lost its biggest asset, Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor, and I think it got messier (Doomsday arc in S8, like wth?), but I agree that it got more interesting as it moved closer to Clark becoming Superman.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of sci-fi but I've never really gotten into anime, but after having Bebop recommended to me by too many people to ignore I finally gave it a chance, and, at least after nine episodes, it seems to be paying of.

On Friday I visited the Gothenburg Book Fair (the second largest book fair in Europe). I bought a book by French Nobel prize winner J.M.G. Le Clézio, a book with translated excerpts from the Mahabharata, the latest book by Swedish author Jan Guillou in his series about 20th century Europe, and finally I bought

I guess that proves my ignorance about it then :-) In my corner of Europe it's virtually nonexistent and the only sources I heard about it from are from the Americas or Japan basically.

Well, I guess Europe is a big place.
