Riding our used-but-new-to-us motorcycle to Michigan from Idaho a few years back, we were pleasantly surprised by a free day at the Badlands National Park. A trip to Glacier might be in order in August, based on these dates.

All great advice, to which I would add two words:
Heated grips.
Generally, if its raining, and you have to ride, your hands will get cold.
Which will slow down your reaction time, and your control “feel.”
Heated grips are always on the bike, always ready to go.
You’ll wonder how you ever did without them, rain or shine.

Well, that used to be Red Wing, but not so much anymore.
Sad.

Does anyone else notice how much these actual everyday carry bags cost?
I mean, you can get a murse or messenger bag free or really cheap just about anyplace, but a lot of these folks are making a small car payment to buy them.
Dunno. Just a thought.
