Exactly. Now, if we could just bring in factories producing solar panels or wind turbines and retrain the coal miners to work there for better conditions, safety, and future for their families . . . nah, that would make too much sense. And plus, the GOP would have to admit that climate change exists.

Yes yes yes. These dumbasses thought Obamacare was something different from the ACA and now that they have learned it’s the same fucking thing, suddenly it’s “don’t take away my healthcare!” They were fine taking it away from the mythical lazy negroes and Mexicans, though, of course.

“Oh no. We’ll lose all those Raider fans,” said city officials, while unsuccessfully trying to keep from laughing.

God, I hate the NFL. Love football, but can’t stand the NFL.

Be safe in the knowledge that the sort of folks who randomly attack the happiness of others when it has zero impact on their own lives have already suffered enough: they’ve likely spent an angry lifetime barking and screeching at everything, and are likely profoundly broken and filled with sadness. Pity them.

If you want to live in a better world, try not supporting tabloid journalism.

I saw this on People’s website (don’t judge me) and sure enough, after like the first 5 comments there was one lady saying “this is not a marriage, they can’t consummate it because marriage is between a man and a woman”.

My first thought was Nujabes as well, but I wasn’t certain which one.

People have failed to yield to me before, I didn’t hit them. It’s not a complete failure for the autonomous system, but there’s definitely a hole in the programming or sensor coverage

While it was the other guy’s fault, perhaps an attentive human driver could have avoided the accident.

As far as stat-padding gimmicks go, this has nothing on Ricky Davis’ incredible attempt to get a triple double

Devin “one better than 69" Booker.

The GOP blew a 237-193 lead in the House.

All Democrats need to do is say “do you remember when [insert Republican office holder or prospective candidate] here supported taking your health insurance away?”. Hopefully that’ll fire up swing voters and pull a few away from the GOP.

Well, before we giggle, let’s look at this big picture. The reality is that today’s non-vote means very little in the grand scheme of things. The GOP absolutely will find the right bill that guts healthcare, probably by focusing all the cuts on the poor and the young as opposed to letting the elderly (who always vote)

I don’t know how to feel about this either, because the reason it was defeated is that it just wasn’t evil enough for some Republicans.
