No mention of the role the Saudi Arabian government is playing in it... they own FACEIT.

I played a decent amount and eventually lost interest. I wish it were a bit more “i’m a student going to school” and a bit less “i’m the chosen savior”. For someone who has played many many action adventure open world games, it felt too much like games i’ve already played.

The only hill i’m dying on is the “anti rage bait” hill. These people don’t care about the issues they speak out on, they complain about shit to generate interactions. It’s the bottom of the barrel form of content and i’d rather Kotaku, a site i have loved in the past and have been visiting for almost my entire adult

???

The game releases February 2nd. They had the “alpha” back in November, three months before release. The game has been in development for like 8 years or more.

I’m sorry but this post is embarrassing Kotaku. All of the “sources” are Youtubers and Twitter posts. There’s only one link to an official EA site. There’s one link to a esports.gg article (lol) that cites a reddit post (double lol). And one link to a Best Buy store page....

The first i heard of these was my coworker saying his 12 year old daughter wanted one.

People go to school and spend their lives training to become artists. With digital art it was still humans creating it. Having their work replaced by generative garbage like this is an insult. This will only lead to more people struggling to find work and make a living.

Lmao. Whatever they used to generate this couldn’t decide if the kids were sledding or skiing so it just kinda did both? Or...neither?

There’s another comment on this article that says the same thing. I’ve seen others say it too. It might not be guaranteed but it seems like a high chance.

So many games have come out and raised the bar for what can be done in their respective genres. Starfield combines ideas and features from those games but fails to live up to any of them, while also failing to live up to what people loved about old Bethesda games.

This does absolutely nothing to fix the PC versions.

Yeah i don’t play CoD, so it was the first Activision game i had purchased since... Sekiro?

The option for original lightning is a great addition. The modern lighting might look better from a technical perspective but it’s so weird playing like GTA 3 without the color grading of the original. It loses a lot of it’s “personality”. Like yeah i want the game to look “better”, but i still want it to look like

Because the game is still running on Unreal Engine with modern lighting and other modern graphical features. Yes, the models and textures are dated, but modern lighting is very demanding

And Raven... and Toys for Bob... and Beenox... and High Moon... And Vicarious Visions...

I mean, i wouldn’t be surprised if many of these hours accumulate during his workday. He does run a video game company after all, so playing games isn’t much of a stretch.

I wonder if I’m the only one getting a bit of Atlus overload. Between all the re-releases and new games it’s hard to keep up. I still haven’t finished P5 or SMTV *cries*

Or people just have different opinions? “One YouTuber hated this game so everyone else is wrong”. Don't be so dramatic.

I didn’t even know Alan’s actor and voice were two different people until I saw the credits at the end
