China has figured out how to play the media the same way Trump and the GOP have: they want quotes, so you can tell bald-faced lies and they’ll report them verbatim. And the media falls for it every time, because falling for it is the only way they keep their access.

It honestly just felt like a mess to me. The best way to describe it is, it’s like someone trying to sing along that only knows part of the chorus and none of the verses. The movie hits the high notes okay, but everything else is just mumbling along, off-key, with the general tune.
