There’s a time and place for that kind of leadership, sure. Sometimes people have to be held accountable to light a fire under them. But somehow Roethlisberger doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who’d know how to do that.

If you take meaningless stats like that away, how much sports commentary is even left? Then we can replace color commentators with robots that just repeat variations of “defense wins championships” and “the team that wants it more wins it” over and over again.
