Back in the day TSF had an article about PL players leaking lineups with members of other teams. I wonder if the same thing happens on national teams. It seems like it might not, but then again, you do get people from the same club on opposing sides now and then.

I think it’s less about hearing the car at all and more about being able to tell what direction it’s coming from, what direction it’s going, and how fast. Yeah, you can hear tires rumbling but it’s lower and quieter so you get more information from it.
