My go-to shows are more about working on cars than driving them. Vice Grip Garage, IronTrap Garage, Mortske Repair, coldwar motors (ok that one is more about Canadian hijinks with a side of cool wrenching), Junkyard Digs, etc. Road Kill Garage and Hot Rod Garage round them out. If nobody is getting oil all over them

I did the at-home test that Costco sells before a trip to Hawaii as it’s on their approved list. It requires you to do a video call to make sure it’s your spit in the vial, and it does take quite a bit of spit.

The one food that I absolutely cannot do is olives so I’m definitely not influenced by Ms. Ratajkowski. On the other hand, a Gibson sounds good right about now.

Whatever the root cause was, the last few seasons sucked pretty hard and keeping the two leads separated contributed greatly to that suckage. Kind of a shame too since I did like Molly C. Quinn’s character and she saw more screen time. That could just be me rooting for a fellow ginger, though.

Judging by the plot lines in the last few seasons that kept the two characters apart, and that their interplay was what the fans liked the most? I’d bet that they didn’t much care for each other.

I agree, especially about the one-off episodes being the best. Too many shows throw in a serialized element (usually a really dumb conspiracy plot) when it’s not a good fit for the show. I do think, however, that the show suffered when their characters were kept separated since their on screen chemistry, especially

Castle wasn’t anything great but it was fine until Fillion and Stana Katic decided that they hated each other so much they didn’t want to do scenes with each other. A show tends to suffer when the two romantic leads are never on screen together.

They need a member who wears a funny hat to really be successful.

This has nothing to do with the god damn Germans!

I was mildly interested until the phrases “authentic life” andliving in an intentional way” popped up.

So he’s the Y Shadow?

Ok, ok I give up! It’s time to get out in the garage and get something done. I’ve been putting it off, but it’s time to get my POS project car ready to go for the summer. That sound you hear is the parts cannon being loaded.

I’ m still baffled at how Bill Gates became their boogeyman. I guess he was fine when he was crushing small companies under the heel of Microsoft but he morphed in to the devil when he decided to run a charity? Running a charity instead of a multinational corporation? How un-Christian!

To me, a person who lives a long way from Broadway, he’s best known for endorsing bad whiskey.

If you survive to get to Spokane wave as you go by! I’m sure by that point you’ll want to push through to Seattle.

Now playing

I think the Farm Film Report guys would have loved it!

Once that the pandemic is well and truly over, not this little dip, I’ll probably ditch the masks. Between my glasses fogging over and my beard becoming a soggy mess, I’d really like to be rid of them. They were kind of nice in the winter when it was really cold, though.

If I ever become eligible I think I’m going to avoid getting the card laminated mostly because I see it as being similar to a social security card which you are not supposed to laminate.

Having lived in Andalucia for a couple of years my first instinct was to stick up for the region’s paella but I’ve never been to Valencia so I don’t have a reference. (But Andalucia is better)

It’s amazing. I haven’t seen a single thing he’s been in. I think this is a first for me on Random Roles.
