It was kind of a Zorro story, as I remember it, except with smugglers. I know I liked it as a little kid but like you I’d like to see if it was actually good. 

Sigh, still no Dr. Syn, Alias the Scarecrow. I have no idea if it’s even any good but I vaguely remember it from the Wonderful World of Disney and it does star Patrick McGoohan. I think I even read the novelization as a kid, now that I think about it.

Absolutely. You can watch it and laugh your ass off at an unbelievably funny movie, and most people know the Frankenstein basics just through osmosis, but if you’ve seen the original it adds another layer of appreciation on top.

Young Frankenstein is a great suggestion but since he won’t watch the original he won’t get just how next level the YF satire is.

That’s exactly it. The process may be most efficient when done online but the people they are trying to reach aren’t online, or even if they are they aren’t able to navigate the wall of text that a lot of the sites seems to be. A 25 year old web designer has no issues with it, though. 

Sometimes you just want a drink with a little umbrella in it.

I don’t know how likely it is that a streamer owned by Comcast is going to merge with one owned by AT&T/DirectTV but these days anything is possible.
