Why is the headline blaming “Detroit” when it seems like it’s pretty universal?

My grandmother used to make those when I was a kid but I don’t think the mold was the same style. After she died my mom tried her hand at it once. We still laugh about that cake. At least it tasted good.

I spent 6 years in the Navy and then 4 years in college so pretty much all of my twenties were spent drinking heavily but at this point of my life I think I’d rather walk barefoot through an ant hill than be drunk, and around drunk people, for multiple days. No thanks.

We’re going to have to agree to disagree on this one. That front does absolutely nothing for me.

Now playing

But most of all, if there were no Spartacus there would have been no Stoney Curtis on The Flintstones.

It is. I was disappointed when they went from AAA to short season A since we wouldn’t be seeing the soon-to-be major league players but it’s been really fun. The players at this level are young, know they’re here to learn, and still enjoy playing.

That’s too bad. Going to a minor league baseball game is vastly underrated. Everything is so much more relaxed than a major league game and the smaller parks lend themselves to a fun atmosphere with kids running around everywhere. Luckily the single-A park here isn’t rundown and there are plenty of food vendors. Sure,

Not really. They tried to CUV-ify a Camaro’s front end.

Try explaining that the Explorer was never an offroader even with truck underpinnings.

I’ve had a beard since I got out of the Navy in 1989. I think of it as a very thick layer of foundation which helps to hide just exactly how unattractive I am. If I was Jason Momoa, Chris Evans or the other people on your list I think I might shave too. What do they have to hide? The fact that they have jawlines and

I’m not sure what you qualify as the PNW because they’re in Lewis-McChord, Spokane and the Tri-Cities as well as locations in Idaho.

I used to have a 2005 Mustang GT and the car wash attendants would remove the antenna before letting it go through the wash. I guess they had a history of breaking.

Oh yeah, it’s very slowly paced. I think the pilot is very different than the main part of the series both in tone and in pace. I know I wouldn’t have watched a series like the pilot when I was that young.

Yeah, I was not expecting The Six Million Dollar Man to try to kill himself and beg a nurse to let him die. No 70s camp to be found there.

It’s on the NBC streaming app. I think it’s the first time that I actually opened that thing.

It was a lot more serious and subdued than I was expecting, not having seen an episode for 40 years.

Just by coincidence I was watching the pilot episode last night. It was kind of strange seeing Darren McGavin as “Oliver” instead of Richard Anderson’s Oscar. Having Martin Balsam as the doctor Rudy Wells was a good thing since he’s the leading character for a lot of it. Steve is pretty much a supporting character for

I think Professor Dr. Metz counts too! Here seen wearing his radiation shield brought to him by Klaus Hergesheimer from G Section.
