Eh, I’ve lived other places. As flawed as it is this is home. There is an absence of smug as well as crowds, traffic and overpriced housing.

Being born wealthy and attractive would be such a different experience that I don’t even know if I would have handled it any better than she does. It just seems so foreign to my life experience. 

I live in Washington too, though on the other side (see screen name), and totally agree that it just seem strange to worry about a couple of bucks.
