This is an example of over zealous people getting hyped about LGBTQ rights. The truth is if you want to be treated as an equal then here it is. This equality, this trans image was treated with the same thought as non trans person. Equality means your not special, you don’t get treated differently. You get the same

“In an interview withPolygon, CD Projekt Red arist Kasia Redesiuk spoke about artwork. ...”

So, male and female bodies can be sexualized for advertisement but transgender cannot?

I think this accusation might be a bit of a stretch. The material is very obviously supposed to be sexualized to further the narritive and setting of the world(the game is very much Blade Runner in tone, with everything run by corporations and the private sector which leads to an absurdly commercialized world). In my

I mean...we don’t know that yet.  The game isn’t out, it’s a little difficult to judge it before it comes out.

Attack helicopters?

How do people know the model is trans? Just wondering if it was explicitly stated anywhere. Someone can dress “traditionally” feminine and have a penis, while still identifying as a male.

The artist is a woman.

The internet over reacting and getting offended by something stupid?! What?!

I accept their explanation

The artwork looks great. It’s great that while our air, land and water is being poisoned someone feel this is the controversy. I only hope Cyberpunk doesn’t censor itself on release and that it does make a bold statement on where we are headed.

As a trans person I am not offended by this in the least.  If you are straight and offended for trans people? It's not up to you.

Holy crap, the controversy over this in-game ad is baffling. The artist who is making the image is allowed to say whatever they want and you’re all welcome to interpret that however you’d like. Also you can’t group all employees/affiliates of a company (ie CD Project Red) as having the same beliefs, it’s not true.

I guess I’m lost here. I don’t see the problem. It’s a sexy corporate advertisement in a fictional world and it looks like she/he/they has a pretty great dick.

Come talk to me when we've reached 2077 and you don't see things like this plastered on mall windows. Because the way I see things are now going, I won't shock me if it did.

I miss the days when a video game could just be a video game without real life political and social issues undercutting the fact that the game is a piece of fiction that maybe uses IRL elements to tell its overall story.

“.....this model is used — their beautiful body is used — for corporate reasons. They are displayed there just as a thing, and that’s the terrible part of it.”

Yet another non-issue.

I actually like it. The Cyberpunk 2020 universe has always been trans friendly. A major npc in the Fornlorn Hope adventure module is happily married, accepted by the community and a total badass who happens to be a male to female transgendered. In Eurosourse there is a subculture that is gender neutral/asexual who

Usually in cyberpunk (and some forms of futurist fiction), body modification, be it cyber implants, dna splicing with other life forms, or changes in gender, are normal. Everyday way of life, wouldn’t get any more attention than someone with a tattoo now. So why would using a transgender model in a racy ad be
