Ok there’s a lot of details missing here.

To be fair, he says that’s total compensation, not just cash. He’s not getting bonuses or equity either as part of this.

Sure, let’s just replace a great name with a 30 year history with the name of a disgraced corporate behemoth that hasn’t done anything good in years.

Actually, Your draw is not randomized. I’m not sure if it is randomized on the higher difficulties but on the lower difficulties your cards are drawn in order. I.e. the 7th card in your deck is always the 7th card you draw. The cards don’t have to be played in order but the order does dictate when it’ll get added to

So many hot takes here assuming the worst stuff on behalf of the developer, so I’ll offer a differing take. The progression system of unlocks lends itself to a possible exploitation with cheats and offline single player, where players could grind, or just cheat to bypass the requirements altogether getting into the

This is the sort of thing where I feel old, because I cannot fathom why achievements and trophies are such a big deal that some players will actually reject a title entirely over them.

They’re all cringe. This still feels unnecessary. The puns and cringe are part of what makes WoW what it is.

... What an awful solution. The feature is great for helping bring smaller streamers a larger audience, giving them an opportunity to shine. If say someone with a 5k audience raids someone with a 500 person audience that’s views, ad revenue, potential subs. Why take that away because some asshole is being an asshole?

Cyberpunk 2077 for PC is and was one of the best GTA-likes ever made.

If all they’ve focused on is performance and bugs, it’s still not ready.

I mean FFXV with all the DLC and the movie taken into account has one of the best stories of all the FF and has one of the most fleshed out villians who is definitely top 3 in the series so I dont agree.

Because Nintendo and especially Game freak are ass-backwards like this.

There’s 0 rng in valorant. It's all skill just as much as cs

Know what’s missing from this list? The Megaman Battle Network series, probably one of the most innovative titles Capcom ever made for the franchise and a real classic of clever game design.

It’s one thing to be like “hey, I don’t like the changes here...I’m skipping this one.” It’s quite another to get pissed because people who actually have played the fucking game are actually enjoying themselves despite its issues.

We get it.  You don’t like Pokemon--sit down already.

Thank you for the review Gita! The last few days, my excitement for Pokemon Sword/Shield has been tempered because of the Dexit controversy and some other critiques that the game is too easy, boring, linear, etc.

They... aren’t exactly meant to be arbiters of moral superiority. That’s kind of the point of the game.

There’s a lot of bitching on r/CompetitiveOverwatch about how players who queue DPS have to deal with long queue times as well as various suggestions as to how this could be fixed in favor of the DPS players, such as they are rewarded with DPS queue priority after suffering through a round as a tank or a support, etc.

Every once in awhile, Kotaku rolls out an article that just makes me scratch my head, and “I don’t like the music in a two year old videogame” is that article today. Was there really nothing more interesting to cover?

DQ11 doesn’t actually use much new music. They recycled existing music from previous entries in the series deliberately, so you’re correct in that the music was not actually written for the scenes they’re paired with.

Exceptions include the overworld and battle music, which WERE designed for this game.
