Nascar’s road course races have the lowest ratings and turnout. Oval and superspeedways are it’s thing. If you don’t like it just stick to GT series.

Absolutely the wrong take-away. Nobody is suggesting the 90s wrecks that Allison, Earnhardt, and others (Ernie Irvan, for example) survived weren’t lucky breaks — that’s why the safety has become such an important aspect of the engineering of these cars AND TRACKS ... but I suspect Elizabeth knows this.

This stinks of

You mention 2001 A Space Odyssey but don’t put it on the list? The first 23 minutes of the movie has no dialog - just grunting monkeys and floating space ships - and it’s magnificent!

Update: all were rescued.

Why not stick to the standard? How fast can it complete the Kessel Run?

Lol, everything you two complain about is inherent with most vans of this era. If you want all the things vans don’t have, buy another Monte Carlo. For THIS kind of van, $3,900 is pretty dang reasonable.

Agreed. Keep the damn units the same. It is like saying “If I take the freeway to Jeff’s house it is 10 miles, but going backroads it is 120 furlongs.”

With the sails installed, the Pyxis Ocean’s voyage from China to Brazil is predicted to take six weeks. On a traditional voyage powered by fuel alone, the same journey can take anywhere between 20 and 40 days to compete.

yeah they burn the nastiest unrefined crude - though some ships are burning cleaner fuels these days there are still a number of super high polluters out there doing more damage to the environment than all the ICE cars in the world.

These actually have a posse, and the price is not crazy for a good one despite the odometer. If it runs as well as claimed, somebody is sure to steal the signs off this Astro.

Holy shit if this thing was anywhere near me here in Minnesota I’d take the day off work to buy it with cash.

Absolutely, NP all day long. We had one of these in the fleet for many years, I would take it home for my winter daily for a couple years. These things are unstoppable in any kind of snow and are nearly indestructible to boot. Parts are so plentiful and cheap you could keep this running for the rest of your life and

The RCR on this van states that these are worth a minimum of $1k in bad shape in PA as long as they have current inspection, because they are commonly used as work vehicles for tradesmen. This one is actually in pretty good shape - easiest NP in a while.

If this was for sale anywhere within shouting distance of me, it would already be in my driveway. A cheap (essentially) cargo van in good nick and AWD for the winter? Yes, please. NP all day.

Well, let’s consult the DOJ’s press release:

Probably shouldn’t buy a diesel if they can’t afford to maintain them.

Good fuck them, also fuck any company that uses a Pit Bull as part of their logo. I don’t have an issue with them as a breed as many do, but it seems like just about any company that uses them as part of their logo or marketing end up being shit bags.

Senator Tuberville is also from Alabama, so it’s a nice little “fuck you” for sitting on military promotions.

yes it does need to return, and hopefully kill off the silly Chev/Ford/Dodge Ram oversized monstrosities.

Ummm, that stupid-ass Chicken Tax is still in effect, which means poor truck choices for U.S. truck buyers in the “compact” market.
