I had an 88 Grand Am as winter beater car.
Got a flat on my way to work 1 day, and went to get the spare outta the trunk, well, there was a rust hole in 1 of the wheel wells, and about 2" of ice had froze around the spare....... FML!

Yes, trusting that some random stranger on the side of the road that you pick up NOT to kill you, is quite the experience.
I picked up a guy who had a flat, and his spare was shot too. And we were in an area that had bad cell phone reception so he couldnt call anyone. I had him throw his spare in the back of my Astro…
