Mmm, you can really taste the plush.

Tweak is certainly more convenient than using GConf-editor, for what it covers - but it's not a complete replacement. I find once you're used to Ubuntu, other control panel programs (particularly CCSM) do a much better job of most of Tweak's functions.

Flash is anything but annoying for the past couple of years. A lot of distros have it installed initially, and in the majority it's just a package tick away.

Okay.

They've released a PC game or too as well. Sony actually publishes a lot of 2nd-party games (Insomniac the most prominent example)... at least until they get round to buying them.

*couldn't care less. That was bugging me to no end.

The DS3 is my preference, and I'd prefer they don't change it just so *someone* is still making a symmetrical analogue stick layout and big squishy triggers. But a 3rd party making a 360-like PS3 controller is a great idea, if any of them can actually manage decent quality.

That generally only applies to portable releases, on which most IP-originating studios don't seem to like getting their hands dirty.

Seems to be more and more downhill for me. "Nice fadey pages" at the cost of less reliable page loading; accidentally hitting arrow keys (or scrolling across the screen to see a large picture) changes the goddamn article you're on... is anyone so OCD that they actually use that feature?

I don't have a 360, nor do I know anyone planning on getting the game. Wouldn't mind seeing how it plays though.

I'm pretty sure for local remote play the PSP connects to the PS3 ad hoc, but a router makes more sense in that case.

Small correction: reading some other comments, I've realised the PSP actually only uses 802.11b, which is about *30* times slower than the PSV, and 5 times slower than the PS3. So the PSV would get better bandwidth results from the PS3, with or without an adapter. My bad. Not to mention it'll be better at decoding

It was Wifi on the PSP - in some cases, over the internet. But you could only play music movies, PS1 games, and very few PS3 games. The PSV supports 802.11n however, which is about 6 times the bandwidth of the PSP's Wifi... which may help somehow I guess, if they release a PS3 adapter.

You can charge PSPs with a USB mini cable. Just sayin'.

I disagree with your third con - that's a pro to me. It'll include software to do all those things to the best of the hardware's ability, but there is absolutely no focus on them in the design, and its proficiency as a game machine benefits.

Uh... why aren't they sticking with the original design, like male Shepard?

I like it. Kept me interested the whole way through, and the production is good enough not to put me off. Looking forward to seeing more.

I love her. She's not a typical "strong female" or a damsel in distress either. She seems a lot more real and, in my opinion, likeable because of that. And as you said, the acting adds to it a lot... but then I personally like the way she says things.
