I don't like keeping all my data under one roof. Hotmail is the only Microsoft product I use, and I prefer to not have any one company (i.e. Google) know *everything* about me.

Used this since Fx4 went gold. No UI at the bottom of the window for me, thanks.

That's just what a Chimera happens to be, back to ancient mythology. Also I imagine encountering a hungry lion would be enough to change your opinion.

Firefly in the title?

15 quadrillion doesn't sound like that many. I'd have thought something closer to... infinite.

The locoroco pack has some nice head doodads :)

It occurs to me that Vincent is easily the coolest costume there.

Pretty much what I thought, but not what I said. I'm not gonna pay $30 for those two games.

Am I the only one who likes the DS3's triggers? Not great for shooters, but L1+R1 work well enough (except in the few games which don't let you use them...), but I think they're great for driving. The 360's triggers have no resistance when you push down on them, so keeping them as a specific level of pressure is

6 USBs overall, counting the four on the front (which made it into the first few SKUs). I've never even had a computer with that many.

Metal Gear Solid and FF7 come to mind as games which used circle to select in all regions (well, at least Japan and Europe). In Japan, a circle is the equivalent of a tick sign (as in 'correct'), and a cross means incorrect - just like anywhere else. So it makes perfect sense to use them that way round.

I don't get it.

Killzone Liberation's really fun, because it's suited to the device. Gameplay is tactical (but not passive) and since it's isometric, the single analogue stick is sufficient. Fireteam Bravo was fun when I played through it a few years ago (especially the local multiplayer), but I can imagine getting frustrated with

I'm completely okay with the Vita; portable optical storage was the only way to manufacture big games for cheap in 2005, but now it doesn't make sense. It's the price of progress.

Why oh why are the Syphon Filter games not together?? I already own Liberation and Fireteam Bravo, but certainly wouldn't mind two SF games at that price.

It's been downloadable in the UK since launch I believe... for £50. (Average cost of a new game is £35-40.)

Each extension's .xpi file is basically a zip file, so you should be able to open it with any archive manager. Inside there should be a file called 'install.rdf' - open it and edit the value of the variable from 4.0.* (or whatever it is) to 5.0.*. This is obviously time consuming if you have a lot of extensions, but

"3D gaming and the 3DS *and me* do not mix."

I swear this guy is always drunk.
