@derek.goeckeritz: Shan't. Molyneux isn't my only problem with what I'm seeing of the game. I'm just calling it as I see it - I think it's a crap demonstration for a game that could potentially be groundbreaking, if it lives up to the hype which, given Peter's track record, it probably won't.

@Omnimon: He does, doesn't he? I've been feeling the fetid waft of his hot air since Dungeon Keeper. Yes, it was a fine game as it turned out, but it was only about a tenth as gnarly as he made it sound in all the previews leading up to release, despite ALL the delays.

@derek.goeckeritz: My point is that while that stuff is present in the video, the voice recognition still appears highly scripted, providing stock responses which don't actually take account of what the user says.

@derek.goeckeritz: It's not really the first though, is it? The first was last year, and despite Molyneux saying that progress has been made I still don't see anything advanced going on here. Certainly nothing that makes me want to jump up and order a Kinect, anyway.

Are Chris and Master Chief about to duke it out?

@Quilt: I don't think that's the Braid guy... isn't that just a Sim? He's turned away in order to be anonymous and therefore be ANY Sim, I believe.

Meh. The responses that Milo gives to Dmitry talking are pretty canned - he could really be responding to anything. I need to see someone trying to break it before I'm convinced that it actually works. If Molyneux had stepped in and shouted 'Stop whining Milo, you little bitch!' I would have been far more interested

@Toby: I mean screens 5, 6 and 7 of course.

Anyone else tried cycling through screens 4, 5 and 6 and watching the vendor's stall grow and grow? I find it insanely satisfying. Try it try it now!

"She's done a very good job of going out of her way to be offended by something she doesn't consume, and then relying on her martyr status to get her way."

The video was fine, but the chat afterwards immediately made me wish I'd hit 'stop' after a minute or so. That guy is so unlikeable it makes me want to punch my monitor. Also, what's the the excessively fast and obvious cuts between EVERY SECOND - WORD, PRACTICALLY - IN HIS - LITTLE TALK. Is it meant to make it look

@Squantos: Ha! Jesus. As soon as I saw the mouse mat being reviewed in the article, I glanced down at my Razer mat (which is exactly the same as yours) and let out a little sigh. It felt inferior! I feel better now though. However, I've used mine enough that the green logo on the squishy bad has completely

I find it hilarious, now, that the first few times I played Doom (I must have been about ten), I was so incredibly terrified that I had to have my older brother sit in with me and play it, occasionally making him take over so I could cower behind him.

@P4KO: I don't think it is... although in my head I always manage to confuse the first and second Dooms because I alternated so much between them.

@Toby: Also, to the androgynous sk8er boy/girl in pic number two? Certainly not old enough for tattoos. Tut tut tut...

So what's with all the American Apparel models riding the boards with their cool, placid faces? They don't even look like they're trying. That's certainly not what skateboarding looks like.

@rdgalactus: Isn't number six concept art? It sure looks like it.
