ahhh...apparently it’s because i’m canadian, and looking at canadian websites. up here the 370z is the same price, and the other two are quite a bit more.

the mustang is a 2.3L turbo four with 310hp and is also less than 1K cheaper than the 370z. it also weights more than 700lbs more.

directly from the Chevrolet web site.

the base camaro is a turbo four with 275 hp and is $800 less than the base Z.

the V6 camaro has performance almost identical to the ancient 370z.

what are its contemporaries? the new V6 camaro i guess?

the cheapest Mustang with a V8 is more than 6k more expensive and a thousand pounds heavier. it’s not at at all the same kind of car and it’s not really a comparison that makes any sense.

i don’t know why you’re struggling with this.

you’re confusing two separate issues. you’re right, the car did have the row. however, it did in fact slow, which the cyclist obviously took (correctly) as a sign the car was allowing him to proceed.

i don’t usually bother with this, but i’m going to take a second to point out all the problems with your post:

the cyclist obviously looked, saw the car slowing to allow him to go, and proceeded with the overtake.

wow that robot did a great job with that cyclist. good job robot.

i’m against the death penalty. totally.

“My 21yo sister in law didn’t drive until she was 19. She didn’t own her own vehicle until 20. She didn’t move out until 21. She has the maturity and financial sense of a 15 year old.”

owning a car was never about freedom. that’s just a marketing fabrication.

kind of a strange grouping. sinking a bunch of money into an expensive depreciating ‘asset’ is the opposite of good financial sense.

the Z criticism on this site is weird. the BRZ with no horsepower is better, because ‘steering weight’, but so is a mustang, because ‘power’. meanwhile, the Z steers much better than a mustang and is much faster than a BRZ.

this is amazing. i have these super annoying ‘cars’ parked outside my place all the time, i’m just going to start scooping them up. fuckin cluttering up the neighbourhood believe me. not for long!

I looked at a new Mustang, and bought a two year old 370z. I wasn’t worried about the cost, the problem is the Mustang weighs noticeably more and steers much worse. I sort of agree that buying used is the best choice for a Z, but I would rather have a new Z than a new Mustang.

i like it! the silver one is classy, but the red + white one would benefit from some blue like the original paint scheme.
