yea, i don’t understand this at all. the name on the valve cover has nothing to do with how to properly apply rtv. i’ve seen this error take out all kinds of engines, it has everything to do with the person applying it and nothing to do with the hardware in question.

this doesn’t make any sense. a properly rebuilt engine is just as good or, quite often, better than a ‘new’ engine’.

it looks like the bike has the clip-on handlebars from the Racer model fitted. these are quite a bit lower than stock, so perhaps that is causing a clutch cable routing issue.
