I love everything about Thandie Newton in The Trouble with Charlie and so wanted this movie to work. I’m not even a passionate hater of Wahlberg performances — he’s good to great in the right role, like Boogie Nights, The Departed, The Other Guys — but his casting ruined that movie.

I’m very happy to see this as one of your recommendations. I have watched this countless time over the years being a lifelong favorite of mine. HIGHLY recommend anyone giving this 60's film a shot. It’s a helluvah lotta fun!
