Scrooged is one of my ATF Christmas movies.  My kids request it every year (house rule that Christmas movies are for December only)...

In light of this brave stance, I will also continue my boycott of Law and Order, The View, and Days of Our Lives. That is, assuming these are all still on the air, as I would not actually know.

I do not watch the program either, but my perception is that the majority of her audience are white cis gendered, middle aged women. Granted this is the audience they are shooting for during the daytime, but I don’t know a single gay person, including myself, that watch her, which ought to be her built in viewers. On…

Good point, I cannot boycott that which is without any interest or consideration on my part. Once in a while I will catch a musical clip from the show on YouTube but have no interest in the host, the format or the guest line-up, and clearly am not missing out.

Ellen has always struck me as the kind of person who does things exactly the way she wants to, and not coping all that well when she’s contradicted. That doesn’t necessarily translate into a toxic work environment, but at the same time it doesn’t shock me either.

Maybe now, with the wisdom that sometimes comes with age, you’ll be better-equipped to enjoy it.
