Blossom has grown on me as a host. I really wouldn’t mind seeing her take over permanent hosting duties. I know a lot of people don’t like her for various reasons, and rightly so, but she really does bring a good energy to the show.

I like him, and he seems like a decent, self-effacing guy, but I hate the way he played Jeopardy!. I’m sure he’s not the first contestant to do this, but always starting at the high-dollar questions and working your way back to the easier ones is less fun for the home viewer, or at least it is for me. I’m sure there…
His parent have bit parts in a lot of stuff, his dad especially. His mom makes me tear up every time in Apollo 13 with the washing machine line.
I’m pissed off more than anybody!
My wife hadn’t seen the meme before, so I showed it to her and asked, “Can you tell who this is?” She glanced at it and said “Jennifer Lawrence?” Fuck.
It was just a joke about a pop culture trope, like the retired diamond thief who’s recruited to help catch a diamond thief.
Yes, a #2 pencil would have sufficed.
If Catch Me If You Can and Ant-Man taught me anything, it’s that security experts are usually reformed ex-criminals who use their expertise to help the same kind of people they used to steal from.
I’m guessing Reid McCarter thought the woman in the spit-take gif was Jennifer Lawrence.
Looks nothing like Jennifer Lawrence. Looks a lot like Shailene Woodley.
I loved the book, so I’m really looking forward to The Power of the Dog. Based on this it sounds like Cumberbatch nailed the characterization of Phil, because a big part his character (a deeply closeted homosexual who sneers at “sissies” and “fairies”) is the performative aspect of his masculinity and ruggedness.…
And do we know that he deliberately told Trent Crimm (of The Independent) that Ted had a panic attack, or was it just a slip of the tongue that he regretted, or perhaps wasn’t even aware of (like if alcohol was involved)?
That made me laugh.
He’s always had jerk tendencies even before he became an assistant coach, he was just too cowed to do anything about it. Like when Ted let him make the pre-game speech that time, his “truth bomb” criticisms were way harsh. He was obviously just venting on his former abusers more so than trying to offer helpful…
Oh, if only it were possible for me to like either one of them any less.
I dunno, but it sounds dirty.
“Would I be remiss in thinking that the answer is…”
The “What is” thing annoys me, but I understand it. If you train yourself to just phrase every answer as “What is,” it frees your brain up from trying to make it syntactically correct, so you can concentrate more on the answer itself. What irritates me most about him is that he starts with the highest money value…
Me showing up to play bar trivia and seeing Matt Amodio sitting there.
