@notafeministbut: I saw it. if you are a green day fan, go see them live. it was not the best...we were underwhelmed with the leads. honestly, being over 30, I couldn't feel bad about one of the leads being thrown out of the house by his wife and child for being an unemployed slacker who spent all day on the couch

@spitfire74: Mike and CCC are pretty badass indeed! (i'm Fred Harper's photographer friend who rode his ducati to one of your events)

well, it's hard to mistake a 1000mm lens...

@Archon1138: i'll sign that petition. agreed - a screaming chicken with a shaker with "455" just makes me weep.

still waitin' for the funny.

@AgainWithFeeling: with fine art prints - usually the photographer (or the photographer's estate/curator) agrees to do a limited run (1 of 1, 1 of 3, etc) and then not print any more ever.

one million dollars for a Tyler Shields picture?!? don't get me wrong, he takes an interesting shot...but ONE MILLION dollars?!? seriously?

@Foo2rama: aww...thx! i'm a dyed in the wool poncho lover (just sold our 77 firebird and have a pontiac shield worked into one of my tattoos).

i'm old.

well, that sucks. Bret always seemed like a nice guy when my friends have met him or worked with him in the past.

@chersolly: I'm sorry, but I don't quite read this as "mistreated" - that level of modeling is a job - it's not "playtime". sometimes it's cool, sometimes it sucks ass.

@MissBaker: oh thanks goodness i'm not alone. i saw that shot and all i could think was, "All day to get THAT shot?!? You had all day with an army of assistants and this is the best you can do?!?"

@twileen: - well, i'm not really a supporter any more, but I will have to say that SG's model contract was changed last year from the very restrictive 4 page version to a pretty open 1 page version.

@Piloter: no worries! check out Alien Skin's Exposure plugin - that's my favorite for adding texture to a digital image. It's pretty funny how much time I spend making my digital images look like analog. LOL!

@Piloter: i shoot with multi-lens dSLR for a living and i love shooting stuff with my iPhone and either Hipsamatic or Camera Kit. I don't carry my 1Dmk3 with a 35/1.4L with me 24-7, but i always have my iPhone.

@leesie: As a professional male photographer who goes out of his way to be non-skeezy, I have to agree...I've met some photographers that just completely sketch me out and make me uncomfortable - I wasn't even the one being shot or in a shooting situation!

@Máté Petrány: thanks! love the tmax3200 shots. thanks for posting the info!

@Slave2anMG: agreed. what's the use of putting "Weird, Old Cameras" in the title and then not pointing out what "Weird, Old Cameras" were used in each shot.

@heykoukla: salma is also about a foot shorter than most runway models

i just got done shooting NYC Fashion week and i weep knowing we don't get shows like this.
