it's all about position when shooting Fashion Week shows. the Getty shooter had great position, i had decent but not awesome position at the same show:

@Fat Tire: well, the main offender here is the photography. no back/side lighting on a blacked out car on a dark background with a model in a black dress isn't doing anyone any favors. it looks like a head and chest with a pair of legs standing next to a vaguely camaro sized black hole.

@MikeK: the 20D and its flash metering system is almost 5 years old! it's gotten much better since then. they upgraded it again with the 1Dmk3 with direct comunication with the 580exII. #canon1dmarkiv
