well, these are a bit dark to me, but I tend to do my own post so I'll go a bit brighter when shooting. In today's commercial workflow, most images shot are sent out for retouching. Some retouchers will even ask for slightly under-exposed shots so they have more latitude when working - esp with beauty shots.

Same here - love books (Phantom Tollbooth!? yay!), love tattoos (sleeved on both arms) and had a lot of my life shaped by libraries and librarians. Heather, thank you for being awesome.

Oh thank goodness someone spoke up - I was assuming that the person who shot these was drunk or something. Heads cut off, blurry, busy cos-play costumes against even busier backgrounds, random shots of people walking by, really odd framing that doesn't show the costume...makes me grind my teeth.

huh? you really have no idea what you are talking about. well-done laser removal is scar-free and most of the time, you can tattoo right over it with no signs of the removal procedure.
