I was under the impression that the change in testing procedure was mandated by the SAE, in an attempt to get manufacturers to report numbers that were more in line with real-world usage. No more cherry-picked, port-matched, balanced and blueprinted engines running with no accessories.

Good thing it wasn’t a huge heavining, or it could have been even worse!

Will they be on display at the New York Autokenetic Exposition?

Is she single? Asking for a friend...whom I don’t like...

“The Porsche Boxster and Cayman are good options, too.”

“driving bliss can be enjoyed by many more typical drivers on a day to day basis through the advances of traction control, launch control, dynamic driver settings, 8 speed ZF automatic transmission and DSG transmissions”

Can confirm. I was in a band in the early 80s. We gigged with a ‘68 Chevy Van and my ‘73 Pontiac Catalina. Both were beat to hell while we were just weekend warriors, by the time we finished our “first” (and last) tour, they were done.

I like that part #12 in the first diagram is the rider’s beer gut.

As a 944 owner, I agree.

FWIW, when I’ve tried this (for fun, when I’m deleting a virtual system), it often fails once /bin has been removed, as it forks a new process running “/bin/rm” for each subtree. I usually wind up with systems with no /bin or /etc, but /opt and /user are still there. Not a usable system, but it certainly would have

But probably doesn’t shower...

No, that would be “rm --evidence --copy-to-secret-usb-stick  && plot --complication=2"
