Hey, it's a cluster of commenters who insist on discussing their lunch choices here rather than Faceyspace. Don't blame that on the staff…

@avclub-04d76abb3e699718326a8cdaa912d976:disqus - The boobs might be okay if that's what the dog was eating. Sex is okay when it's part of highly graphic violence; it would be shameful to see a woman orgasm, but it's perfectly all right if she's brutally raped. Much in the same way that you can mention semen being

Sadly I missed that, but I've had both Drowsy Chaperone and the 2011 Anything Goes in regular rotation in my car stereo for weeks now.

I appreciate the more general discussion of plotting and stakes vs conflict because I think it's relevant to several discussion threads in the TV section.

All I took from it was that Chi McBride has a prominent role, which to me indicates that even if this is passably good, it's not going to make it a full season.

In a similar vein, one of the things that's made Law & Order: SVU's unbearable is the need to have it's crimes be more and more tawdry. Because rape and child abuse isn't enough on it's own, there has to be layers upon layers of depravity. It's like a dog that isn't satisfied with tipping over the bin, but has to roll

I'm going to cop to having watched a few episodes of Catfish. It's bad piece of television, but every so often it becomes really intriguing in the way it holds a mirror up to internet culture.

I admit, the ABC Family thing put me off initially, but I showed up eventually and I've downloaded and clicked on every legal venue to demonstrate my viewership. It hurts that it isn't getting more love.

I just read the Bunheads description. Am now picturing Todd in legwarmers and endlessly referencing Martha Stewart…

I'm with you. Granted I'm having some internet issues, but it's been a bitch loading pages today.

And the loser has to review Glee?

Oh, the Christmas special… I don't know how, but somehow I had wiped this from my memory for the most part.

Lemon curry?

Hulu is really pulling in some good stuff. I was suprised and delighted to see they picked up Spiral, so here's hoping there's no such thing as "too British" or "too European" so long as it's good programming (and they can afford it). We can only hope…

Have we learned nothing from Monarch of the Glen?!

I don't think Murder-Bates would kill his mol. He's not homicidal with Anna, just kinda rapey…

Kinda surprised that didn't happen.

I pretty much check out of country music following all the Bush era insanity, so I had no idea she had such a troubled life. Not that I would have known had she been splashed all over the pages of Us. Is the country scene less invested in sprawling their stars' dirty laundry all over the tabloids?

Does not fit the criteria for this list at all, but I just wanted to use this as an excuse to pat myself on the back for remembering both Guy Pearce and Hugh Jackman from The Man From Snowy River tv series (aka Snowy River: the McGregor Saga on Family Channel).
