Damn. I doubt we're going to see a Region 1 DVD release anytime soon.

Honestly, nothing is more bothersome than the phrase "Disney's The Muppets."

That sort of thing drives me crazy. Yet they're remaking House of Cards…  Oh well, better they ignore it than do the same dreadful job with Forbrydelsen/The Killing.

I openly admit to enjoying The Mentalist, if only because Simon Baker is so darn charismatic. And I like all the supporting characters, especially Cho.

The early seasons were great. It's such a shame the show has completely tanked.

Thanks McGee, for giving a shout to Ovation.

Came home to find a picture of Mitchell and Webb at the top of the page. This brings joy to my day.

Funny - I only watched The Office in snippets because I'm not much for cringe comedy, especially in an office setting where I already had to deal with too many of those characters in real life.

LET'S ALL SMOKING!!

Very grateful to be part of the Gifted program. I was among the last classes since the district promptly killed it. Y'know, cause why help the kids who want to learn to excel?

I'm still mildly amused by this show. I guess I like the idea of the show and I like Kaling enough that I come back each week.

Hey… new episodes of Dance Academy tonight…! Which I will likely still watch in spite of having streamed them all over the holidays…

There were parts of this episode I really liked, but I've got to say, at this rate I'm enjoying the show as ABC is doling it out, but I can't say I'm going to be in deep mourning if this is all we get.

It's one thing if they want to run the "lost" S01 episodes, but jumping back and forth between old un-aired and new episodes is disorienting. This may not be a show we watch for continuity, but even if you're familiar with the show it's odd jumping between storylines. This past Saturday June started a new job, but

Jane Seymour stunt casting aside (she is after all the go to for We Need An English Broad For This Role), I really liked this episode. A nice balance of silliness and heart.

Anne's reaction to finding Mr K playing house-frau at Ryan's was hilarious. She really is one of the best parts of this show.

Last night was a pretty solid night for comedy. I liked the entire Fox line-up (there's a rarely used phrase) and turns out Mr K is a rocket scientist! Even liked a bit of New Normal which is still mostly unbearable but was at least heavy on shirtless Matt Bomer…

@avclub-b0968cb03f5c51b647bbc197f2975157:disqus - I am completely behind your Toby Stephens idea, marvellous!

Colbert's last two weeks of 2012 were brilliant, particularly the HamRove memorial. I was actually delighted to have reruns for a couple weeks there.

Not the funniest movie ever, but it there were some great moments of parody. I've watched it more than a few times and really enjoyed it. And if there's no Andy Dick in the sequel than I'm very excited for more.
